Cristiano Ronaldo To Move Back For £122 million?

Manchester United FC transfer news hints at the return of the prodigal son, Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford. Late Christmas speculations hint at the striker repeating the situation of his transfer from Man U to Real Madrid FC. The Portugal striker might be looking for an increase in his remuneration. (wonder Messi's £100m contract had something to do with it)

Reports suggest that Cristiano has spoken to his former Manchester United FC team-mates over the transfer move, which according to him will cost around £122 million. It cannot be called wishful thinking as Ronaldo had earlier pulled off a record deal when he moved to Real Madrid from Old Trafford.

It was reported that Real Madrid FC president, Florentino Perez, had promised the striker a new contract in January, which has not become a reality till now. Sir Alex had stated last week that Cristiano Ronaldo is as good as Messi. The Barcelona player has signed six new contracts in seven years at Camp Nou while Ronaldo is on his original contract terms with Real.

Many reports suggest that the player is looking to move out of the Spanish club as he feels that Real Madrid FC has not supported his crusade to be crowned FIFA's Player of the Year. As this summer arrives, Ronaldo will have two years left on his contract with the club.

Real Madrid will face Manchester United FC in the early stages of the last 16 of the UEFA Champions league at Old Trafford. Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return at Old Trafford, but time will tell whether his stay with the Red Devils is temporary or permanent.
