REVIEW: Beyonce's 'Life Is But A Dream'

This movie is too bootylicious for you, baby.

Beyonce, Bey, Knowles-y, Sasha Fierce, Mrs Carter… whatever you want to call her, she’s amazing. How can you not love her?!
So last night I took my totally-not-weird love for Beyonce off to a special screening of her new documentary Life Is But A Dream.
In the feature length doco, Beyonce talks about her life, from her childhood and early days of Destiny’s Child
(prepare to squeal when you see the footage of the DC girls!) right up till now and looking after her cutie daughter Blue Ivy.
Side note – thank goodness Blue Ivy has started to look less like daddy Jay-Z and more like mum!
In an honest interview, Beyonce talks about her relationship with her father and how difficult it was when she fired him as her manager.
She talks about her love for husband Jay-Z – and there’s some raw footage of the two of them – as well as plenty of footage from Beyonce’s live shows.
Having the little glimpse into Beyonce’s life makes me respect her that little bit more! There’s something to be said for stars that have a really good work ethic, and Bey certinaly doesn’t expect to get any of her fame, fortune and wonderful life for free.
If you’re a Destiny’s Child fan or a Beyonce fan I recommend getting your hands on this film and watching it! Over and over and over.
