JAMB 2013 UTME Results – Nigerian students reply to the delays of JAMB

Students in Nigeria are done with the delays and the inability of The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
JAMB has been taking the candidates for granted from a long time now. But anonymous sources report that the candidates are ready to plan a nationwide protest as a reply to the incompetent services of the JAMB.
The preparations for this protest are already reaching the last levels. The students who are unable to fetch their results based on the biometric verifications after writing the UTME are frustrated to the peak and are ready to unleash their frustration on the Matriculation Board.

The pre-protest negotiations and warnings from the students include three sanative alternative options given to the JAMB and they are assuring that if the Board settles with these three solutions, they protest will be stopped at that very moment.
The first and the most prioritized option given to the JAMB is that they should immediately, without any further dew, release every pending result and in particular, the results that require biometric verification as it was the UTME officials, not the students, who were the cause of malfunctioning in the system.
The second options given by the candidates is that they JAMB has to reimburse them for the money they spent and the mental stress they have been going through because of all this inconvenience.
The third option is the legal lawsuit. It suggests that the students should be able to apply legal pressure on the JAMB staff and officials in case of any lack of functionality in the Board offices. And if failed to comply with the satisfactory levels, the students should have the full right to take any legal action which suits to their allegations
