Ogun state governor turns ‘bus conductor’ for Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday inaugurated the reconstruction of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with a pledge that the N167 billion project would be completed in 48 months.

During his inauguration, the president rode in a motorised vehicle with the Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun acting as a make-shift 'bus conductor'.

The governor was, however, not daunted by his task as he grinned widely while hanging on to his dear life the vehicle.

He inaugurated the project as thousands of road users were grounded for about three hours on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Abeokuta-Ore-Benin Expressway.

The President, who flew to the interchange in a Nigeria Air Force helicopter, was accompanied to the venue by the Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, and Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.

See another photo below with the Ogun state governor still hanging on. Great job he did we must say.
