Kano bombed again: Multiple Explosions Rock Anncient City

DailyPost has just gathered that two explosions rocked different locations in the crisis-ridden city of Kano at the early hour of Saturday.

Details of the blasts, though sketchy a reporter in Kano who craved anonymity said that the first explosion happened at Hotoro area, close to the NNPC Mega station.

"We are yet to get details of the explosion, but sources around the area said that the explosion was from a car who refused to stop for search at a Military stop and search point," he said.

The source further added that the Military patrol team subsequently pursued the car and later engaged the occupants in gun duel.

"The car was actually loaded with explosives which was detonated as a result of the heavy gunfire" he added.

The other explosion reportedly occurred at Tishama neighbourhood along the Eastern Bye-Pass Road.

Residents said the explosion was also followed by sporadic gunshots.

The Joint Task Force and the police in the state could not be reached at the moment.
