A drama ensued on Monday at the premises of an Aba North Magistrate Court, Abia State when family members of Ndukwe Oko, victim of an alleged homosexual affair, engaged in a heated argument over a decision to settle their matter out of court with gay prophet, Prince Benjamin Ndubuisi.
A section of the family members led by Elder Agwu Anya Egbuta had soon after Magistrate K.I Udo adjourned the case to September 19 for report on the out of court settlement, said they were not consulted before their son in-law, Mr. Onwuka Obiaruko agreed to settle out of court with the gay prophet.
Egbuta who faulted the agreed N50, 000 hospital bill for the victim on the basis that it is not commensurate with the damage caused the latter, vowed to pursue the matter to its lawful conclusion.
"What is N50, 000 to what he did to my sister's son? Is it the money we have spent in treating Ndukwe? The boy is yet to recover from what the homosexual pastor did to him. The videos are there to tell the entire story of what was done before the Ndukwe could be treated in the hospital. This thing this man did will not be left to pass away like that. The homosexual prophet had to bathe Ndukwe before he could be treated in hospital. The prophet told us that without this, he cannot be well and would die. The world must know about it and I will use every legal means to make sure that justice is done in this matter," he lamented.
Speaking to newsmen at the court premises, a sister to the victim, Chioma Oko said they agreed to settle out of court because of lack of funds the legal processes and decided to handover the matter to God whom the homosexual prophet claims to serve.
Recall that Prince Benjamin Ndubuisi, a self styled gay prophet was in August arraigned before an Aba North Magistrate Court for having an unlawful sexual affair with Oko.
Police prosecutor, Corporal Rubise Galadima said Ndubuisi risks 14 years imprisonment if convicted. However, he did not oppose the decision of the parties to settle out court.
