Twenty-four year old Chinedu Ubachukwu has emerged the winner of this year’s edition of Gulder Ultimate Search. The Anambra State indigene thus became the 11th winner of Africa’s first and longest running reality TV show.
To attain the feat, he edged out 28-year old Emmanuel Afolabi and 29 year-old Nne Cosy Joe. After over three weeks sojourn in the jungle, only the three contestants survived the harsh weather conditions and the arduous tasks they were subjected to.
Incidentally, on the morning of the final search, both Emmanuel and Cosy Joe gave Chinedu their lanterns. They told him “this will light your path”, oblivious of the fact that that his light would shine the brightest at the

FG Returns Sanusi’s Passport And Seized Salaries

The Federal Government has announced plans to pay the withheld salaries as well as return the ceased passport of the Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the Nation reports.
A source within the Presidency said the decision is part of President Goodluck Jonathan’s total reconciliation with the Emir, who was the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

KING A-MAZ - CAN’T KILL US

After a two-year break, King A-Maz returns with a declaration titled "Can't Kill Us". The Maiduguri native who just graduated from the University of Maiduguri with a degree in Engineering explained that Can't Kill Us was inspired by the brutal killings that were common place in Maiduguri. He explained that the horrors he witnessed and experienced cannot even be expressed in music. His only consolation lies in the fact that the legacy of the people killed will always remain immortal. The reasons they were targeted and killed are diverse yet what they believed in remains forever. Can't Kill Us was inspired by his three late eccentric friends, Shizzy D, Heych and D2; his late pastor George Orjih; his family friend late Ibrahim Stanley Mshelia and every victim of the Boko Haram carnage - both targeted and random.
Can't Kill Us was produced by the prolific SizzlePRO who is well known for his work on Omawumi's Lasso of Truth album, and Waje's Words Aren't Just Enough album and Yemi Alade's King of Queens debut album.
