5 Things Nobody Tells You About Sex

http://www.funnymalaysia.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/h-IS-SEX-ADDICTION-REAL-960x540.jpgSex eh? Everyone talks about it. All the time. It must be amazing, right? Like eating magic plantain fried with the tears of 200 beautiful angels. Right? Maybe. I don’t know. Please don’t ask me abeg. I do know that sex is one of the few high-stakes activities in the world you can engage in with absolutely zero training, or licensing, or even basic mentoring. For the love of bread and moimoi, shouldn’t we all get licenses before sex? Do you not want to have a document with your name on it that says Certified Penis Operator? Or Validated Vagina Visa Holder? Or even Cocksmith General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? No? Me neither.
Anyway, most of us received absolutely no training pre-sex. If you were lucky, your parents just told you to be careful, handed you a condom and said “Goodluck my son” or “Go forth and multiply” or if you were a girl “Please don’t disgrace me o.” or the less subtle “If you carry belle to this house, I will kill you” before throwing you to the wild.
So… let’s assume its your wedding night (LOL, ashewo like you). You assume you are prepared for sex. You think you know everything that is about to take place. You are wrong.
I am a nice fellow so let me tell you the 5 things you should know about sex that no one ever tells you (except me).

Queen Elizabeth Makes Angelina Jolie a Dame

The Maleficent star can add one more feather to her cap

Angelina Jolie can already be called an Oscar-winning actress, an activist and a mother of six. Now, we can also call her a dame.

The U.K.'s Queen Elizabeth II has made the Maleficent star an honorary dame in recognition of her work raising global awareness of violence against women.

Jolie co-founded the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative (PVSI) along with U.K. Foreign Secretary William Hague in 2012, which aims to increase internationally prosecutions for sexual violence and support countries in preventing and responding to the global issue.

"To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to," Jolie said in a statement, ABC reports. "Working on PVSI and with survivors of rape is an honor in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine."

Jolie cannot officially be addressed as "dame" in the U.K. because she is a foreign citizen. The Queen awarded her the title on an honorary basis.

Lamido Sanusi,Others Queue To Replace Emir Of Kano

WITH the death of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, on Friday, the first question Nigerians asked was obviously who takes over from him. The question becomes very necessary given the background of the recent crisis between the Federal Government and the last governor of the Central Bank, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. The former CBN governor has never hidden his ambition to be emir of Kano after Ado Bayero. Now that Bayero has bowed out, it goes without saying that  prominent likely successors to that throne of influence and prestige would rev up their engine.
Even as the late emir was being buried in Kano on Friday, interested forces pitched tents in making permutations and gauging opinions of the powers that be on who would get the throne.
Names of likely candidates were openly touted in Kano on Friday and these were Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and three sons of the late emir. These are Alhaji Ciroma  Lamido Ado Bayero (the eldest son of the late emir) who is also the district head of Gwale local government area of Kano. He is highly regarded as Bayero's heir apparent given historical foundations of majority of previous emirs who succeeded their fathers.

The supervising Minister for Aviation, Samuel Ortom, however promised to provide the details within five days, even though he noted that he was not in the ministry when the agreement was reached.

Naira appreciates on dollar inflow from oil firms

The naira appreciated slightly against the United States dollar Monday as a result of dollar sales by local units of four multinational oil companies.
Reuters quoted dealers to have revealed this.
The nation's currency closed at N162.40 to a dollar, compared to last Friday's close of N162.80 to a dollar.
Dealers said the local units of Chevron sold $55.6 million, ExxonMobil $50 million, Eni $20 million and Addax sold $10 million to some lenders, increasing dollar liquidity.
The naira has been hovering around N162 to a dollar level for the past two weeks, supported by dollar flows from oil firms buying the local currency to meet domestic obligations and offshore investors buying local debt.
Dealers said the naira might continue to strengthen if additional dollar sales expected from the Nigerian

Full List of Super Eagles 23 Man World Cup Squad

After hours of waiting on Monday, Stephen Keshi released the final World Cup list at midnight. And as the drama and suspense that preceded the release, the list also came with some surprises.
Joseph Yobo will play in his third FIFA World Cup finals and have opportunity to become Nigeria's first-ever century — international after he was named in the African champions' final list of 23 for Brazil 2014 but African Nations Championship Most Valuable Player, Ejike Uzoenyi and AFCON winner, Sunday Mba failed to make the final cut. Gabriel Rueben and Babatunde Michael made the list.
Also going to their third World Cup are goalkeepers Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide, but midfield strongman Mikel Obi will only be attending his first finals after Nigeria narrowly missed Germany 2006 and he was omitted from South Africa 2010 due to injury.
